Chasing better lives

Some where between the lines
of emails, between nines to fives
lost in days of our lives
Chasing lovers, bosses and wives.
I remember your face
But forget the sound of your laughter
I have a nice place
But nothing to do after.
Some things get better with time
While some lose their rhyme.
Age untouched you
But I am a victim of the crime.
Some dreams are over taken
While some take over
I have had my share of both
and I know the reason you loathe.
